If you are in first year and feeling uncertain or stressed, mentorship can be one of the best ways to help you gain confidence and build a long lasting connection with someone who has successfully been through what you are currently experiencing. Both the Undergraduate Commerce Society and Student Management Association offer mentorship programs to support students in Commerce and Management.
The Undergraduate Commerce Society revamped the BizMentorship program which pairs up fourth year commerce students with second year students. The program paired up over 140 students, a 16% participation increase from previous years. BizMentorship has fun socials throughout the year, with food too of course. The Student Management Association will be hosting 5 Mentorship sessions in the 2017-2018 academic year. Please contact the Professional Development Director Juan: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
